Isak Ragnar Elis Friberger föddes 1865 i Vistorp, Skaraborgs län, fadern lantmätare. Student i Skara 1883, med. lic. 1898, med. d:r 1903, docent i praktisk medicin 1904, professor i pediatrik och praktisk medicin 1913, allt i Uppsala. Företog studieresor till Tyskland och Schweiz. Dog hastigt i Sala under en resa till Sätra år 1919.&#13;
