                <text>Uppsala universitet har som tack för lång och trogen tjänst medaljerat ett stort antal av sina trotjänare vid Sätra brunn.&#13;
Den 7 juli 1911 fick 13 personer Patriotiska sällskapets medaljer av olika grader. Dessa utdelades i kyrkan av dåvarande rector magnificus, professor Harald Schück, som var klädd i full akademisk ornat med rektorskedja, och uppvaktades av marskalkar i studentmössor och blågula bantlär.&#13;
Vid detta tillfälle fick brunnsmästare Alfred Eriksson den mindre guldmedaljen. Den större silvermedaljen fick bl. a. städerskan A.S. Sjöström, 82 år gammal, som varit i brunnens tjänst mer än 60 år, samt hennes bror, förre rumormästaren C. Sjöström, 75 år gammal och anställd vid brunnen 51 år. Stora silvermedaljen tilldelades också baderskan Anna Bolin, änka efter brunnsmästare Johan Bolin. Dennes broder, badmästare Anders Petter Bolin erhöll liknande utmärkelse. Ytterligare en bror, barrkokare Gustaf Bohlin, fick den mindre silvermedaljen, som också tilldelades badmästarna E. H. Björklund och P. A. Johansson samt baderskorna Emma Wetterberg, Karolina Hedén, Anna Greta Björklund och Charlotta Andersson.&#13;

                <text>Stånden var av  typen med en lucka som fälldes ut inifrån och hyrdes av handlare och köpman från trakten men även längre bort kommandes. Dessa stånd stod bland annat efter Landsvägen (även kallad Kopparbergsvägen, nuvarande Urban Hjärnes väg) och på Brunnsgården. Alla slags varor fanns att inhandla även mat. Det sista saluståndet revs 1933.&#13;
