Broarna är de äldsta husen på brunnen. Här bodde Samuel Skragge när han första gången kom hit. Detta tillsammans med en mängd människor som kommit för att dricka av det berömda vattnet. Sitt namn har Broarna fått av den kavelbro som ledde över det vattensjuka området mellan Fängsbacken och Trefaldighetskällan. Enligt traditionen ska bron ha anlagts på Gustav Vasas tid. &#13;
Husen har varit bland annat prästbostad, brunnsmästarbostad, skollokal och café.&#13;

                <text>Skallerormen. I början på 1900-talet kunde man åka hästskjuts vissa dagar i veckan mellan Sätra Brunn och Sala järnvägsstation. För ändamålet användes en gulmålad wurst med längsgående sittbänkar, klädda med röd schagg och skuggad av ett vitt tak. Det var den beryktade ”Skallerormen”.&#13;
&#13;
Körkarlen påbilden hette Carlditz och var arrendator på Fängsbacken. Han står närmast husknuten tv. Mannen i dörröppningen med rundkullig mössa är Brunnsmästaren Zetterström.&#13;

                <text>Matilda Andersson hade en liten bod av medeltida typ med lucka, som inifrån fälldes ut till disk, vid sidan om fanns ett litet krypin med sovplats för köpmannen. Där var hon karamell- och kakmadam och sålde fin konfektyr från Ofvandahlsm,  bakverk och naturligtvis kaffe.  Somrarna i Sätra Brunn var något alldeles extra för familjen Andersson. Förutom det färgglada brunnslivet, som stod i bjärt konstrast till det stillsamma vinterlivet gav det en hel del pengar. När Matilda inte längre orkade med somrarna tog dottern Elin över ruljangsen. &#13;
